Steam refund games never played

Refund for unplayed older article source To the games - If I breached the rules could you move this to the community support thread at all? If not I'll repost it there next time I'm on sorry! I've done a search of the subreddit but couldn't find any responses for my circumstances, so am hoping someone can give me some insight?

I have some refund in steam library that I've never played at all or have only played for less than an hour or so. The reasons for this boil down to either I didn't like the gameplay, I started it but never returned to the game due to being 'distracted' by something else or my computer probably couldn't handle it my desktop died over 3 years ago and I've been using a decent, but not high-end laptop since. It never occurred to me to seek a refund before, however yesterday I tried to start a game I bought a year ago but it crashed every time I tried to start it The Turing Test.

I pages annoyed at this online so have requested my first refund, but I then played to thinking about possible refunds for all these other games I either never started or have less than an hour play time on and which I will likely not play in the future. The thing is though most of these were purchased YEARS ago, as in or I'm a super casual gamer for the last many years.

I don't want to go overboard with it or anything, but if I started requesting refunds for these, maybe 3 or 4 a month for the rest of the year, do you think I would successfully get the refunds? I'm happy to get the refunds as 'store credit' and not into my bank account or anything. TL;DR - Am I likely to get a successful refund on games with either zero or never an hour playtime if they were purchased over 4 pages 5 games ago?

As an Australian if it makes a difference. Am I likely to get a successful refund on games with either zero or about an hour playtime if they were purchased over 4 or 5 years ago? And Steam won't check his connected IP numbers and payment against his claim? Wouldn't it be worse to lie to a company you invested in for your account's future?
